How long does my fur coat last?
The longevity of a fur coat depends on the type of fur. It is not uncommon to see mink coats still in great condition after 20–25 years or more. With proper storage during hot weather, furs can last up to 50 years or longer. Beaver, Persian lamb, raccoon, and coyote are also known for their durability. On the other hand, chinchilla, which is the softest of all furs, is more delicate. You can further extend the life of your fur through remodeling.
